Breakfast - YOUR most important meal of the day!!!

Hello everyone. I hope you had a great weekend. I thought I would share a quick breakfast idea. I had it today and it is still carrying me along.
Pumpkin oatmeal
1/2 cup quick oats
boiling water
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
mix pumpkin into cooked oatmeal sprinkle splenda and cinnamon and enjoy
It is a great way to start your day full of fiber and protein. It is very important to get your fiber in through out your day. It will keep you satisfied longer. Don't forget your water. HAVE A HEALTHY DAY!!!

I have a great pumkin breakfast, too:Pumpkin Parfait
1/2 c. low-fat or fat free yogurt (plain or vanilla)
1/2 c. canned pumpkin
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 TBSP. Honey
1/4 c. Granola or some whole grain cereal
Mix it all together and eat up! YUMM!!
