Brian's Challenge
So I haven't written in a little while. The end of summer is always busy. Fall is definitely here. I need a light jacket on when I walk Marley and it's usually in the dark. I don't mind the change of seasons though. I think it makes me appreciate each of them more. Fall tends to get me back to being organized and scheduled. I've started planning more meals and sitting down to eat dinner at the table. Brian's challenge has started as well. We met last Saturday for a workout and had a list of things to do for the week. I'm happy to say I accomplished all of them. Luckily I meet Jeanne in the morning at the gym and she keeps me honest. Eating hasn't been bad either. I've made a number of signs to put around my house - some affirmations to keep me going. Hopefully people won't think I'm crazy when they see them. I have one taped to the TV that says "ANY eating in front of the TV is MINDLESS eating". I have to say it has helped. I've been eating my meals at the dinning room table and trying to concentrate on how everything taste. I'm just trying to be more mindful of what I eat. So far it's going well. I feel pretty good this week. I'll see what the scale say tomorrow. Hopefully I'll see you there.
