Challenge Update
I meant to write each week of the challenge but I obviously haven't done that. I'm currently in week 3. The first week went great. I followed the exercises, concentrated on mindful eating and lost 3 lbs. Yay! Second week pretty good as well. My birthday was in the middle of the week so I wasn't expecting a weight loss. I indulged a little more with my food and I skipped the gym one day but overall I felt good about the week. Glad to say I lost 1 lb. Yay! Now, week 3. My workout buddy is out of town and I used that as an excuse to skip the gym on Monday and Tuesday - yeah, I had a couple appointments but in reality I could have gone after work. That's okay - worked out this morning and it was not an easy one. I'm still taking time to sit and eat dinner without any distractions but I find myself feeling munchy. It seems that anytime I allow myself to eat some sweets I want more sugar than if I had never eaten it in the first place. Well, I turned down some bad food at lunch today so I'm feeling good. I just need to get to the gym the rest of the week and follow the plan. We'll see what it all means on Saturday.
