KICK-OFF EVENT!!!!

 

Saturday. November 1st

Brighton High School Track

Rochester. New York

10:00 a.m.

 

Come walk, run, stroll along the track in Brighton along with other FGN'o8'ers. 

Start the month out right with what is supposed to be a beautiful fall Rochester day!

How to use the checklist:

Click on the link above, print the checklist out and post it somewhere that you'll see it EVERY DAY.

1)  Record what you did each day.  Remember that variety is key when it comes to weightloss, better fitness, and muscle growth.

2)  Record how long you exercised for.  This a great way to SEE your progress as the month moves along.

3)  On a scale of 1-10, how much did you exert yourself?  Use the scale below to help you decide:

Level 1-2   Piece of Cake

Level 3-4   I Broke a Sweat

Level 5-6   Hey, that wasn't easy

Level 7-8   Wow, I didn't know I had it in me!

Level 9-10   Holy Cow - I'm unstoppable!

 

4)  Finally, for calories burned, unless you are on a machine at the gym that reads the calories burned for you, click on the link below to convert your workout to a caloric count.  (Seeing the calories burned every day can help motivate you to keep going and might help you make smarter choices when it comes to food, snacks, drinks, etc).

This is YOUR Challenge

 

Sit down, and figure out what your goal might be for the month, ex:

  • I want to lose weight
  • I want to tone up
  • I want to feel healthier
  • I want to drop my cholesterol
  • I want to train to run a race

Once you have your goal, start working on it, knowing that there are over 500 people across the country all working on their specific health and fitness goals this month.
